Supposedly a heated topic in the mod forums but they have not let slip any news to the possibility.

Is the time being spent on market research and impact on growth? What's the holdup?

Whoa, what's up with this? In protest of not receiving any reply on an Apple forum, I WILL post on the hour, every hour in this here thread just to keep this at the very top. Am I coming in loud and clear?

chunky, I think this is a mute topic.
They keep jumping in and saying its a hot topic, but nothing else ever happens.

I have been really hunting down an Apple cube and pricing the stuff to upgrade one.  It seems a cube still is going for about $600 (which is nuts to me).  The upgrades I want end up totaling close to $1200.  Also nuts.
For about $1800 I could buy a G4 in a Mirror case.  Really do not want to jump into a G5 until the new ones come out and I am still not sure if I want to buy one.
Wife has started to use my iBook, so I am really tempted to just run out to the local Compusa (only apple stuff store in area) and just buy a 12" iBook, trade hdd between the 2 (my hdd I put in my iBook is better than the stock one in the new iBooks) and then sell mine on Ebay.

What about getting a cluster of XServe G5s connected to an array of apple 22" screens *drools*

Sorry where am I? Oh yeah...

Come on mods. You at least owe us the word 'No'... pleeeease

Just claim she "broke" it, get some sympathy from your wife and buy the iBook you want. Pure genius!

Damn, she just threw a wrench into the whole thing.  She just called and told me she needed new tires for her truck as one of them is showing steel.

Called around and tires to match what she has is gonna cost me $650, get better ones will be $810.
So much for my new iBook
