I mean I haven't noticed it for awhile but today I really have. I mean it's pretty loud high pitch ringing and the only time it goes away is when I am scrolling with my mouse on my 200n. If I change the power supply will this go away or what? I can yank one out of a 210V but was there ever a fix? Will changing the psu help or is it a mobo problem?

i had the opposite problems - electrical (high frequency-sounding) pitch when i used the scroll button on my mouse or when burning CDs... I RMA'd the PSU and have not had a problem since. Try another psu and you will know for sure. Have either of you two been working on your hardware inside of the computer? It is a slim chance, but electircal noise can stem from loose connections - so check to see if they are all solid. Nforce2 boards seem to be very sensitive to that. I have had 3 nforce boards and experienced a like situation on all of them. If you're in the US, call Biostar and talk to Customer Service, NOT the rma dept. They were more helpful and allowed me to rma just the psu and not the entire ideq. I got a new psu exactly 1 week after I mailed mine to them (but I live in the same state).

The STOP GRANT Disconnect feature of the nForce2 appears to cause some of the whining, and not just on the iDEQ 200N.
