Overkill,
I agree with you. Trying to get your point across, when Rocky has targeted you is impossible at best. I am also a moderator here, and I have taken on Rocky more than I really want, and I also have been a target of his... I personally value your opinion, and I wish you the best

People are going to feel passionately about something, especially in a political section, where the decisions that are made can affect millions of people.

I apologize if you took any of my replies as “bad mouthing” you.

The mods, myself included, hold the political section to a lower standard of quality control because of the nature of the section. I have not and will never censor posts or delete posts because of someone’s opinion. The only time we will edit or delete a post is if we feel it is a personal attack or vulgar language. If anyone feels something said in any post is questionable, please contact me or any mod to resolve the situation.

You lot should fight more often! (j/k)

Seriously though Rocky, thats why I love this section; Politics always strikes a chord into ANY person. There is some very interesting and engaging debate in here

Overkill- I usually agree with you on everything.  So its funny you say what you do in yoru alst post.  I just disagree on how Bush came to his conclusions and why he did the later actions.  Im on your side on the real issue of it all, I just dont agree with you on how it came to be.  You can look at me as young and inexperienced, but I dont.  I tyhink my opinion is as valid as a 50 year olds.

I practically have a form reply composed for all the times I've gone head to head with you on this one.  I don't see the point in doing it again

Rocky,
there were WMD in Iraq before the first Gulf War, so in a logical way, I still believe WMD are still in the reigon. Weapons like biological and gas, really do nothing but terrorize populations and really piss people off

I realize both those points Tmagic.  But that was many years ago.  We have found no WMDs, Bush has said we have found no WMDs.  A lot of the evidence we used to go to war saying hteere were WMDs was wrong.  Yes clinton was wrong on his findings too.  But its better to have the truth now, than to keep beleiving they were there when they havent been found.

Scut will tell you that there were illegal weapons there and Im not denying that.  But there were nothing that classified as WMDs. No "biological and gas" weapons of mass destruction.  70% of the people still think Sadam was behind 9/11 according to the latest poll.  I just think its sad that people beleive that because nto enough people are enforming the people of the truth that matters.  Why are the bgigest news what 2 guys did 30 years ago?  And gay marriage?  Yea Im sure they are big deals, but in comparison to whats going on they are very veyr small, and its frusturating watching CNN all day and thats all they talk about and thats all the comercials.  Where are the real issues?  Wheres the truth?

"But that was many years ago"...

Again Rocky,
time does not necessairly change things. The Bible was written thousands of years ago, and it addresses many things that are of today. History repeats... Mankind repeats...

Tmagic-  I agree with your last statement.  Hisotry repeats itself.  But it hadnt repeated itself as regards to WMD in IRaq.  Thats the bottom line to my point.  My only point is he didnt have them when we said he did.
