Yeah, especially the cart fulls of weapons being moved elsewhere. I didn't say I trusted him. I simply said I am glad peace is there now...at least for the time being. The part I hate is how politics is hindering our fighting and politics gets people killed. IF we didn't have to protect that mosque and IF we were allowed to just wipe him out in any way we saw fit, we would have absolutely leveled that city by now. Probubly overkill, but it would get the point across and end the fighting perminently in that area. Of course on the flipside we'd also p*** off every single muslim in the world ten times over. So it's a double edged sword. We can't do our job of bringing stability and yet they're crying for it. Go figure. Kinda reminds me of vietnam all over again.
And people wonder why I hate politicians. Ugh. Let a soldier do his job without sticking your stinking fingers into the mix and problems will fix themselves quickly enough. It's stupid politicians who make the problems that the armies have to try and solve while obeying the orders of those same said politicians. Obviously a military dictatorship is no better than a political war run entierly by politicans, but 98% of the time you tell a soldier "I want this done" he's going to get it done hte best way he knows how. It may not be politically correct, but it gets done. *sigh* I'm just ranting now. I'm gonna just shut up and go back to playing with my routers.
