Wild High-Speed Chase
In California, a 25-year-old driver decided to do some wild-style driving, to the bemusement of police officers, who had to use practically everything they had to finally take him down.
The chase spanned two counties and hit speeds of 100 miles per hour. It began after a concerned commuter called 911 to report an erratic driver. When police caught up to the vehicle in El Monte, the suspect refused to pull over.
He held a purple robe out of the window for much of the chase and frequently waved his arms outside the car.
Meanwhile, police visited the house that the vehicle was registered to and found it wide open and ransacked, with music blaring. No one was inside the home.
The suspect's father was located by police. He watched the chase on television and confirmed to authorities that the driver was his son. The father also told police his son has had drug and mental problems.
The suspect eventually pulled into the parking lot of a Donut World in San Juan Capistrano. Police surrounded him and managed to restrain him.
No one was injured during the chase.

hehe. They went for 2 counties but ended things in a donut shop. Nice touch.
