username1234, the PSU temps went down for sure. I'm not sure about the case temperature. I don't think it really made a difference there.

Do my problems sound PSU or Motherboard related to you?

Any suggestions welcome!

I can confirm that its not the PSU that is faulty - the 92mm fan modification doesnt seem to have damaged the PSU - after keeping an eye on the temps they are really quite acceptable for Media Center use.

I used a 550Watt ATX PSU this morning in the iDEQ and the problems still persists.

I unplugged all USB devices and put the iDEQ back together - and it switched on first time - and again, and again, until I plugged in my MCE remote control receiver and then the peroblem of freezing after the Windows logo started again (however its fine if I just dont have anything plugged in to the USB ports)

Is there some kind of USB driver I can install to correct these problems?

Any ideas?

Thanks, 1234
