I have a Biostar 200n, and I am having some booting problems. For the last few weeks I would turn the machine on, and it would often shut right back down again after the drive started to spin up. Occationally, especially in the last two days, I would see this cycle repeat once or twice more, and then the machine would finally boot. Last night the cycle repeated 5 times, and now the machine is totally dead.
Anyone have any thoughts? My first thought is power supply, which sucks because a replacement PSU for a Biostar will take way too long to arrive. My other thought is the mother board, which is even worse than a power supply. This is a work machine, not a gameing machine that can go down with only inconvenience as a result, so I really need to nail this down soon. If no one here has a solid insight, I will just take it by my LCS and see what they have to say.
Anyway, hoping for some thoughts,
Gordon

there could be something loose inside that is causing a short and making the PC restart.
