Hi all -
I have a friend with a TB Santa Cruz.
He has a 5.1 speaker system, but would like to
output a stereo signal to all speakers.
Any way to do this? I know my Envy24 Drivers have a
2+2 setting, is an equivilent for TB?

Is there a free dvd player that'll output 5.1? I doubt it, but
was wondering outloud anyway.

Appreciate any help you can give!

I don't know about the TB, but to my knowledge there's no free DVD player with 5.1 support.

How about setting the TBSC to 5.1 mode and setting the DVD player speaker settings to Stereo mode? I haven't tried it before, but logically the DVD player software will output only stereo signals and the TBSC will mirror that stereo signal to all speakers.

Regards.

My friend got things sorted out, hes a noob at computer hardware.
As a side not, I found an atical on the MS website that seemed to indicate the new
media player (9? 10?) would do 5.1 output. Looks promising.
