The Dign cases, especially model 15 with a 7" TFT in the front (bling bling), looks very clean although a "bit" pricy. Anyone got first-hand experience? I got hold of a review yesterday that had much good things to say about these babies, bump and I'll look it up and share (got it on the home computer). I have a few questions tho, since I've never built a htpc yet.  For instance, how does it work with a remote control and does it work well? Naturally I want to control all main functions of the HTPC remotely, including record/playback of live digital TV, music playback and DVD record/playback etc.

Nice pic of the X15e and of course the Dign general site.

The pros of this form factor, is that it allows for high-end video cards using arctic silencers, full sized PSUs and real case fans to get proper cooling. Still they seem rather expensive but the installation also have some goodies like stealthed front connectors and dvd drive stealth (front panel). It looks nice imo. Comments? Ideas for a setup based on this baby (i.e. rough setup of components).

They strike me as being very expensive.  I'm waiting to buy the Silverstone LC10M, but in the mean time I have built a n LC11S.  Lovely cases & not overly expensive.

My LC11 Consists so far of:

2Gb Geil Value
X800XL
Athlon64 3000+
Seagate 200GB
NEC 3540A
MSI RS480M2-IL Motherboard

Just waiting for my Audigy & Nova-T to arrive.  I'll be using media portal to drive the HTPC.

Indeed, very expensive stuff, but the design seem unavoidable for me in the future. Full sized cards allowing for arctic silencers, 80mm exhaust fan etc. I need a very clean looking case with high-end finish but still, I might change my mind. I'll take a look at the models you mentioned. Care to share what cards you are talking about? I guess the Audigy is the audio but the Nova thingy? How is it compared to others?

Any ideas what kind of OS you'll use etc? Remote/IR? Always on setup?
