Lastest poll numbers support her to some extent.

Any opinions on whether she should or not from the Libs out here?  I'd be especially interested in what Rocky's opinion is.

I can already guess what the conservatives out here think

Honestly I think this is a strategic effort by republicans to show Clinton as the front runner.  I cant hear a republican open his mouth in the 6 years about the presidency without mentioning Hillarys name, if it was so bad for them that shes around then why would they keep talking abotu it.  It can only hurt democrats if she throws her name in.  Now on the other side I think Hillary is probably int eh top 5 smartest and hardest working democrats, and is probably the best fundraiser (yes scut one of her aides is in a trial for illegal fundriaser- they should have a club now for that), but she is very cold for a woman and much to serious of a woman to get other women to vote for her,

Anybody notice that good 'ol Laura Bush has been pretty active lately ?

I think that is just great.  She's practically sat in a proverbial closet for the past 4.5 years... and now is finally getting... no, taking some media attention.  Seems to have a great personality too.  What's more, she has a mind of her own... it seems.  Of course I'd need more information on her... as I don't really know much about her... but if she is who I think she could be and it was Laura vs. Hillary in the year 2272 (because it'll never happen during their life times)... I really wouldn't care who won.  They're both extraordinary people.

You hit the nail on the head... Women & power ain't popular among their base and they know it.  We all know the Rep motto is "If they ain't barefoot and pregnant, we don't need'em."

I'm gonna go with Rocky on this one.  The impression of Hillary as a frontrunner would really benefit the republicans, regardless of her strengths and position in the party.
