Hi , having just built and started overclocking my 200t ,Iwas intrested in these post,s about power supplys and if there up to the job.I can only go back to my gaming pc which is now a year or so old .This is a 3500 venice cored  64 athlon with 2 gig of ram, a 6600gt ,2 hard disks, 2 dvd,s 2 zalman fans for cpu and graphics,an extra 4 case fans running from a aerogate 3 ,1 zip drive and an external hard disc ,which originally ran from a tagan 480w power supply .When this failed the spare power supply i had was another tagan but a 330 w.I wasnt sure this would run the set up, but bit the bullet and ran the system at full whack .Guess what the supply is 100 % stable ,not overloaded and never gets warm .The fan on the power pack never increases in speed even while running games ,so i could say that if the biostar supply is a good 200w then what you could cram into a biostar shell should be more than catered for by the power supply.

I've had my Chaintek 6600 on my 200v for over a week now, and I have to say what a huge difference!  My 200w psu is very stable, and with my 2 case fans modded on each side, it stays very cool, but then again it's been pretty chilly outside.

Woohoo! Thanks for the update!

That's great news. I love my 6600gt. They're stellar cards.

Hi there,
I haven't been posting on the Forum for the long time but I work hard so only several quick notes from readings:
I am eventually sold with 200N. I planned 210P, but iDeq's are not available in Poland due to distributor conflicts with Biostar so I picked one of two last 200Ns available and... my battle for stability begun . Considering my flawless setting of 210V when I was complete SFF newbie (U remember RRuss our struggles with 6600GTs?) I could be disappointed with 200N for long-time stability issues and my HDD corruption, but now I consider it was worth all the efforts and proper bios settings were the answer to all the trouble. Here is my current, rocky stable setup in brief:
----------------
iDeq 200N with 200W PSU
Barton Mobile 2500+ (1.45V one) overclocked to 11x200 @ 1.65V (can go up to 2.5GHz but on 1.85V)
2x512MB of PDP low latency RAM @ 2-3-2-5-1T (SPD timings) @ 2.6V (it's important to bump voltage above 2.5! - these RAMs work at 2.55-2.7V with low latencies)
LG DVD R-W DL burner (GSA 4163B)
Samsung SP 1614N ATA-133 HDD (I sacrificed SATA for less noise and easier setup)
MSI NX 6600 VTD Diamond @ 550/1100MHz with Zalman VF700 Cu
Samsung 173P LCD - so using constantly 1280x1024 res
----------------
My 3DMarks in 1024x768:
2001SE: about 15000
2003: about 8300
2005: about 3400
----------------
newest games - F.E.A.R. - runs OK with medium to high settings @ 1280x1024 (about 35 FPS which is fully playable; entire video and physics settings to medium  give 40+ FPS)
----------------
for people messed up with my VGA:
NX6600VTD is sold as GF6600 with better freq. (400/800), but in fact differs only in bios from full 6600GT - it has the same PCB and 2.0ns Samsung memory chips, so it overclocks to the levels of stock 6600GT (500/900) or higher.
I run my GF all the time at 550/1100 now, but it overclocks at least up to 575/1150.
My Barton under stress doesn't exceeds 50deg C on stock iDeq cooling
and overclocks without ANY issues to 2300MHz (11.5x200) @ 1.65V. I can bump multiplier and FSB further but I feel my settings at 11x200 optimal now; RRuss has 250W PSU, I have 200W and I consider my overclocking enough in view of PSU load, temperature, noise and efficiency
-------------------
hope it helps answer some questions regarding wattage, overclocking and graphic card power draw
I still have my old sig with 210V... but it can be useful for someone

Cheers all
Chris
