Well we all know now that we were wrong about Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction. The President, his national security advisor, and numerous other sources ahve all said the same thing. The only thing we know is that most people thought they had them because at one point we know they did, and that they used them. The one question that people have failed to ask, and therefore answer is, where did these WMDs come from? And how did we know they had them? Well there's the obvious evidence of our war with them in '91, but we knew he had them then, so we must have to look before that. When was the first time that Iraq used these WMDs? The answer is during their conflicts with Iran in the early 80's. Wow, Iraq mustve been ahead of its time, because not many countries had that ability at that time. Actually very few countries did. So those WMDs and their technology must've come from somewhere. I wonder why the media, or the liberal media, whichever you prefer, hasnt asked these questions? Are they hiding something, or are they just clueless?
Well here's some nighttime reading for you guys that will keep some thoughts swirling in your mind when you make your next posts concerning the war in Iraq and the issue of WMDs.
WMDs in IraqThe introductory paragraph is just the begining, but Ill post that here just cause I know a lot of you are like me and dont click links very often.
"In October 1992, the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, which has Senate oversight responsibility for the Export Administration Act (EAA), held an inquiry into the U.S. export policy to Iraq prior to the Persian Gulf War. During that hearing it was learned that U.N. inspectors identified many U.S. - manufactured items exported pursuant to licenses issued by the U.S. Department of Commerce that were used to further Iraq's chemical and nuclear weapons development and missile delivery system development programs."
Another interesting thing to note is the Donald Rumsfeld was on the President's General Advisory Committee on Arms Control during the 80's when this all took place. I wonder what he's doing now after that failed performance?
