Hi,

Anyone have any problems with the PSU on their 330P.  Mine blew up months ago.  I sent it back for repair/replacement about 7 weeks ago and Biostar/Microdirect still haven't sorted it out.  I ain't using anything power hungry, 2 SATA HDD, X800XL, DVDR etc etc.  I dunno what happened, it just died one day.

I don't know what to tell you, bud. I'm pretty sure the 330P utilizes the ENP-3125 250W PSU just like the rest of the iDeq's. There have not been any other problems reported with this PSU except for its obnoxious noise level...
Good luck with your RMA, dude. You really should've gone directly to Biostar instead of Microdirect, though. It would've gone much faster.

did you send it back to Biostar direct or back to where you bought it?  if you sent it direct, have you tried e-mailing or calling biostar tech support?  If you sent it back to your reseller I think they're dragging ther feet, 7 weeks is way too long.  at most it should be no more than a month.

It finally arrived back today.  That's 2months to the day since I sent it back.  I sent it back via Microdirect as I couldn't get answers from Biostar.  I filled in an online contact form and also emailed them to no avail.  At least it's working though, although I went a bought a laptop while it was away.  So, now it will be used for games and that's about it.

It's good to hear that it finally came back (and of course, that it works).
I hope you don't have too many problems in the future with it, but if you ever need help, we can try to help you as best as possible.

Unfortunately, there does appear to be some issues with the EARLY version's of the PSU.  It is not there standard Ideq PSU, and only shares with the 300 series (due to the tiny atx connector and 2x 4pin 12v connectors).

There new model's do not do this, so any replacement you recieve should give you more use than the Ideq!

p.s. I have not seen this happen on any of the 330G's yet.

Sorry to jump here, but I have a 330p since more than one year now. 2 months after i bought it the PSU crashed and my retailer geve me a new 330p.

Yesterday it crashes again. I think thet there are problems wuth the PSUs at least the early ones.

I have seen some replacements in the net, but they say something like "Replacement 300W Power supply for Biostar iDeq Range. Compatible with the following models only 300G 330G 330N 330P. Main Power connector is 6 pin & not 20 - 24 pin"

I do not know if this will fit in my SFF, because I do not know if this 6 pin connector will be ok.

Could some one please advice me?

Thanks
