Two new versions of Shuttle's system management utility, XPC Tools, are now available for download. One allows the utility to be used on XPCs configured with Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (the 64-bit version of Microsoft's leading operating system) while for XPCs using other versions of the OS, XPC Tools 32-bit is also provided.

Along with a version for 64-bit support, XPC Tools v1.3 also provides fixes for some compatibility and performance issues, and adds support of Shuttle's 2 recently released XPC barebones, the XPC SD36G5M and XPC SN21G5.

Both XPC Tools 32-bit and XPC Tools 64-bit can be downloaded from the XPC Tools website.

Anyone downloading the 64bit version of XPC Tools 1.3 should be aware that it does
not, yet, support overclocking on SN25P Shuttles.

Also, on my SN25P (Y Bios) / FX-55 / 2GB Corsair XMS Pro rig, the default "Smartfan" setting in XPCTools comes up with:

Drives = 0 rpm
ICE In = 0 rpm
ICE Out = 834 rpm

These numbers are clearly wrong, based on readings from the BIOS and other third-party software like "Speedfan" and "Everest Home Edition". However,
you can make adjustments on the XPCTools "FAN" page.

Bottom line, XPCTools still needs alot of work.
