1GB Kingston HyperX PC3500 BH-5
ATi Radeon x1600 Pro (Avivo makes DVDs look pretty!)
Seagate 300GB 7200.8
Pioneer Slot loading DVD-Rom
MCE 2005
Optical to receiver, VGA to TV

It looks like all you need is a Denon AVR-5803/5805 receiver, some Definitive Technology speakers ( BP7000sc (front), CLR3000(center), BP7002(back), BPVX/P(surr), and another CLR3000 for the back. ) Cheesy

looks nice. How much did all the HTPC cost? I'm too lazy to look it all up.

Well everything's different now because the hardware I used is somewhat old.  I'd say you could build something similar(and actually somewhat better) for about $750, including a new copy of Windows Media Center Edition.
