I'm looking to add an external display to my MacBook. These two displays are $299 and $499 respectivley at New Egg. I'm looking to do some photo editing and general use with the display. Are they as good an an Apple display or am I better off trying to pick up a second had ACD?

Apple displays are LG. So go with the LG.
