how in the world do i burn an ISO in osx?!  Does it have it built in, i thought so but im second guessing myself.

I would have to guess no, because you can not burn an iso under MS either without suing a thrid party softwre like Nero.
I am pretty sure Toast will give you the ability to burn an iso cd.

haha, i foudn it!

under the utility disk manager, you are able to mount and ISO and then select it and say burn...strange, but meh i dont care!

Now i have my happy copy of Mandrvia.
