LO ALL!!

Just wondering before I format..

What drivers should I use in WIN XP PRO editon?

I got told XP use good ones auto for via apollo 133a pro. but now there must be some better ones that tweak and get things better for XP??

Usaaly via 4 in 1 dont install on XP.. but are there any XP good ones out? better than the ones XP installs? And how we install them?

Also, Last time to enable 4 agp on my bored I used a registry edit from geforcefaq.com

But that dont work in XP, WCPUD repors i got 2x only at moment.

How do I get my bored and gfx card working at 4AGP and back to 2agp in windows XP please?
Bios option does not fix it and regirest dont work anymore.. Any XP regiretry edits for it?

Thanks for info in advanced.

Hi!
XP doensn't need any drivers for your board. So, if after install u have no particular issues, i suggest u do not install via 4in1. There is a slight chance it may give u problems later. There are newer drivers, yes, but they don't offer much. what i suggest, is for u to install the via agp patch 4.10, and the latest driver for you graphics. That should put u up to 4X agp. But, keep in mind that 4X agp will provide u nothing more than 1% increase in speed, and the problems it might bring u are not worth it. But, u might just give it a try and if u run into poblems, just take out agp 4x.

Hope this helps,

Ric.

If AGP4 still does not want to activate,
then try downloading NVMax or Geforce Tweak Utility.
That's if you have a Geforce.
If another card, maybe another tool.
