WEEEEEEE !!!!!!!  Smiley

Yes, this is a great feeling when you look on teh screen and see that everything's working perfectly. I never had that problem before. First though was - ram, but I listened to these guys from scan computers testing group, who told me that ram is ok, so stopped worried about it. Next time I won't believe on any word from RMA group;)

I'm gonna copy some pictures from my fodling moments:)
Tests, 3dmark scores and temps will give you on weekend. My job is quite enoying - I work 4 days on 12 horus shifts (2 days, 2 nights) so I don't have time to do all tests. For now I just looked at temps of CPU and NB and cpu is 43C idle, 48C during testing 3dmark, nb is 32-35, hdd is about 30C. Didnt check 8800GTS, but I hope it will be less than in sn25p...
3DMARK06  score with SN25P, AMDx2 4400, 2GB corsair cas2 400MHz and GF8800GTS was about 7500 (1280x1024). I persume with Core 2 Duo e6400 it should be higher than that... I should get my replacement ram stick on friday or saturday, so I 'm gonna do the tests then...

that teaches you to buy from Scan.
and to trust their RMA guys!

I have had more success from www.aria.co.uk   and  www.microdirect.co.uk   and there is always    www.dabs.com

... and FINALLY... all photos from folding.

As you can see this heatsink is little bit turned to left, because of that capacitor near it...

empty case...

cabling before...

... and after concidering back bracket for cpu mount:) It is too high to put on all cables, so I moved them on that place.

CPU with ac 5 silver on it

...and NT06 on cpu... you can see on this photo it was quiet hard to press it against case, fits like a glove! Smiley

there was a mobo screw under the nt06, can be seen on above photo - I used VERY small screwdriver to manage it:)

mobo in...

...and mess on my desk:)

HDD in, I put it on higher bracket...

cables in...

...again, messy place:)

my love.. 8800GTS in...

I bought additional thin ide cable and cut second part of it, wont use it in the future anyway;)

and big mutha... PSU in

Fits great and NT06 stays just under it, cooling should be efficient

Looks pretty inside, I love this black mesh on the back:)

All in, right before start... and finding out its not working - almost 2 weeks ago from now:))

Now after 3 times of triyng to make it work, I changed some parts, moved cables little bit so it looks better now, I will put new pics when get back home, maybe even today...

Nice pics! Looks like a neat build.

Two things though. First, if you ask me you put way, waaaaay to much arctic silver on the cpu. Really, I would remove the NT06 and the arctic silver and reapply according to arctic silver 5 instructions --> http://www.arcticsilver.com/arctic_silver_instructions.htm

And second, what's that blue stuff on top of your harddisk?

it looks to me like there was a passive heatsink on the NB - why use the blue zalman flower nb cooler?

also - does this thing sound like a jet engine with all those fans everywhere?

because blue hs for nb looks FUNKY! Smiley
It is waaaay quieter than SN25P - I could say - silent, PSU fan has 930rpm, both top fans about 1200rpm, I put Arctic fan on top middle, it is very silent and efficient, top rear fan from silverstone is also wuiet, same as hdd fan - YOU CANNOT HEAR THEM from 40cm. Only one thing I hear is hdd and loud as s*** dvd...Wink

8800GTS and probably GTX too - are very quiet - silent even with 75C temps.. I dont remember but this fan will speed up after 90-92C or sth, then you can hera it, but still it is not louder than a dvd:)

do I see a paper washer under that screw?  Those aren't suggested as they isolate the motherboard from the case, and some motherboard standoff holes are used for grounding and you can short out a board if you use the paper washers.

it looks like ther's some pressure on the capacitor pushing it sideways, which is probably not a good thing...

and ya, what is the blue stuff on the HD?

Congrats on getting it running though!

Well, there is no pressure on that capacitor - it just touches it very gently, no harm. Blue stuff on hdd is termal tape, you can find it on one of my thread about "how to cool down those damn hdds":)
You can order a sample of these tapes, a lot of kinds of them. I have ordered couple on diffrent addresses so I have a few. Using it you can drop hdd temps abobe 4-5C - it takes off the heat and let fan take it away easier. really good stuff. Whe its off you can feel how cold it is:)
About mobo and screw paper washer - I didn't that you call it like that:) Yes I have it there, but mobo touches case near the I/O panel so it's grounded anyway.

In terms of noise on my rig, which has pretty much the same spec, except for the video card, my rig is annoyingly loud.  I have the 2 stock case fan that came with my sugo01 and using the Enermax Liberty 500w.  I pretty much isolated to the vid card...I'm using the  XFX PVT73GUGD3 GeForce 7600GT 256MB
http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814150182

Its just whirring away!  Its soo loud that I'm considering getting a new silent card.  Any ideas?

Now my temps:

IDLE / LOAD (highest temps I had during 3dmark06)
CPU 44C/50C
NB 32C/36C
GPU 65C/80C - I had 80C only during 3dmark06 tests - normally during play games it has max 70C (!)
HDD 24C/28C

All temps with fans on minimum speed!
I will update if they change...
Just to compare - my 8800GTS in previous rig - SN25P - had idle temps 75C Wink Load about 95C...
AVE SG01 !!!

3DMARK06 - 1280x1024 res., still 1GB of RAM less... SCORE: 8035 !!!
With amdx2 4400+ in sn25p I had 7432 - that gives 600 more 3dmarks just after CPU change and even 1 GB ram less !!!

I think SG01 is the best case for matx and gf8800s... plus passive cpu NT06 cooling and silent Enermax 500W gives incredible hardware... IMHO:)
(I'm learning all that english shorts:) )

I'll back phinix up that the GTS is very quiet.  There is more airflow noise than fan noise around the whole case, which are both quieter than the HDD.

OK I got my new ram stick. Now, after all that fighting with hardware (and RMA techs;) ) I can say (proudly, why not:) ) that I'm very happy with my new rig - Core2Duo and new DDR2 gives an increase in speed of my system. Sugo case looks pretty, so wha that its a little bigger than my old sn25p - it has class.I can always change configuration on anything I want, temps in this case are great compare to shuttle - and - what was my goal - this case is great for my new 8800GTS. So at the end I can say this was a good idea.. good stuff for a change.

I want to thank all of you for support - it is good to be a part of this incredible community, where everyone has the same passion... Thank you.

...End of story:)

Thank you. PSU is Enermax 500W Liberty. Sugo case with NT06 costs about 100 Pounds, mobo 75, 70 for PSU, ram 160, cpu used from ebay 120, fan controller 25.I had dvd, hdd and gf8800GTS from my previous rig. I spent 580 Pounds on all that stuff, not including dvd, hdd and gpu.

Very nice indeed Phinix,

Did you fit the NT6 before placing the mobo in the case ?

I'm thinking of the following build :

Sugo 01 Evolution
Corsair HX520 PSU
Foxconn  G9657MA 8EKRS2H
CPU  Intel E4300
2GB DDR2 PC2-8000 5-5-5-15
GPU 8800GTS 640MB  (gainward 1.1ns)

Did you consider the Foxconn at all ?  It's fairly rare here in the UK at the moment.

Yes, I places nt06 first, then put it al in the case.
WATCH OUT with mobos and NT06!!! When I had a problem with my stuff, I bought another mobo for tests - Asrock with i945. Problem was that CPU socket was to near of the edge of mobo - after I places cpu and nt06 it didnt fit in the case !!!
As you can see on my photos, ASUS P5B has a GREAT placement of cpu socket - it fits without even a mm between case and nt06 - almost didnt fit I could say. So always have to compare - how far it is from the edge of mobo.
I was always fancy with these Foxconn stuff - more popular in Europe than in UK. It is really nice stuuf - Winfast brand. I had many Winfast graphic cards and I can ALWAYS recommend this brand, not so expensive and very powerful and relieable. I concidered this mobo but didnt have access to it. Besides ASUS is best brand for mobos, so took this, because many people have this mobo in their configurations. I hope I helped...
