All

Just a quick one to ask if any of you guys out there have any experience of using the FX60 dual core in the EQ3901? Or do you know of anywhere that you can point me to help answer this question? Really tempted to put the top of the line socket 939 CPU in there and overclock it, but it would be prefferable to know if it would work or not...

Soltek lists support for X2 4800 and FX 57, but went out of business before the FX 60 was released. Any ideas?

I hope someone reads this thread! I'm a happy owner of an EQ3901 and I too am looking into upgrading my CPU to a dual-core processor, if possible the FX 60. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

If not, is the support of X2 4800 and FX 57 official? Those can always be a reasonable alternative to FX60. Please help!

Thanks

Hi Justin13,
Did you ever upgrade your EQ3901? I have recently got my hands on another one, it has a lowly A64 3000+ in it which I want to swap out for something quicker. Did you ever try an FX60?

FX57 and X2 4800 support was offical in BIOS G1.5. Luckily I took back ups of the BIOS files!
