Help~~ Logically, if your 8800gts will work on 250ps,i think my 8600 gts will work as well, right? Do you have any idea why can't my computer can't detect my graphic card?
Please let me know if there's any trick?
THANKS~~

Lets not hijack this thread. Start a new one in the Shuttle section.

Cool. but I really didn't want to see your tools for the job. I was speaking more in terms of actual case shots...

Seriously, kdog03, you have to stand up for youself against these accusations. If I were you I would get some pictures ASAP and post them and yell "HAH! IN YOUR FACE #¤#/!!! LOOK HOW GOOD I AM!!" .
Or you've just faked it and the next picture will be of your filing tools...

a tease might wait a a couple of days, not a month. i don't see the point in it.

I think I've waited almost a month between updates... ;-)
Although I can see why everyone wants details here. It's something a lot of Shuttle owners are interested in. My guess is that although it looks good, it may actually be an incredible pain to remove the cover with those tight tolerances. If it were me, I'd likely have to drop the card in, at the same time I put the cover on...

I was thinking about howto how he got the case cover on - he cut the "brackets" out which are used to help guide the cover in to place as you slide it on. He simply dropped it on.

well if that was the case (hur!) then it would be a completely bollocks mod. if you picked it up by the sides thecase cover would just bend up due to only being secured at the back which would bend the case cover and inturn rip the gts from it's slot.

heh. and i still havn't been given my damned custom title! i'm naboo that's who! but yes. the only possible (read as logical actually) way for that case to work would be to slide the cover on with the card at the same time, but you NNED the front supports. the only other way i can think of is if he installed the card without a heatsink, put the coer on as normal and used an army of small voles to install the heatsink after the cover was on by entering through the front panel

Ok, I realize now even more why everyone thinks this is fake... I got that same evga 8800gts card to put in my sk22g2 this past weekend... even with the cover off, it wouldnt fit into the pci-express slot. the fan extends too far back. I even tried taking off the backplate of the video card, but i still couldnt get the card in place. The only way i could see to do it would be to remove the fan entirely and then get some sort of aftermarket cooling solution. a double slot card simply cannot work with a g chassis unless you are willing to remove/cut into the back support strut from the case.
