I love Vista... sigh.

DEP (data execution prevention) is blocking rundll32... it says it could be a virus.

You can exclude programs from DEP... but not host files, which rundll32 is.

Whenever you try and install anything it blocks it. Any programs... Adobe, Office, you name it.

What can I do?? This is a brand new laptop!

What happens when you temporarily reduce or disable DEP or is that possible with Vista ?
