In Windows XP Professional, when I open "Task Manager" it opens in an abbreviated form. This has been going on about a week. The box now displays from the middle of the "Task Manager" box, downward, only. The selection tags across the top of the "Task Manager" box, that allow the user to choose a category of computer activity to monitor, are no longer visible. They're not being displayed for some reason. That's my problem! So I have no tags across the top of my "Task Manager" box that offer me the opportunity to select and monitor "Applications", "Processes", "Performance", or "Networking". They've all disappeared. In addition, the upper part of the "Task Manager" box has also disappeared. So, I have no tag from which I can select "File", "Options", "View", "Windows", and "Help". They're not being displayed either. Finally, in the upper right hand corner of the "Task Manager" box, there's no "minimization box", "enlargement box", or "X" displayed. So, once I've opened "Task Manager", I cannot close it, except to reboot the entire computer. Please, can someone PLEASE assist me? I really need your help. I'll be very grateful for any assitance anyone can offer me. Thank You very much.........Russell
