Found an interesting link for the 2008 Election Hopefuls..  It doesn't go into much depth but it is a fairly good run-down on those vying for the presidency..  Thought I'd share it with anyone interested:

MONTECITO, Calif. (AP) — Oprah Winfrey was rolling out the red carpet Saturday for Barack Obama and the high-wattage stars invited to a gala "celebration" expected to raise $3 million for the Democratic presidential candidate.

The most powerful woman in show business was set to celebrate her favorite candidate at her palatial estate in this coastal enclave south of Santa Barbara. Tickets to the sold-out private event went for $2,300 apiece, keeping them within campaign finance limits. Stevie Wonder was scheduled to perform for the guests, who were expected to include actors Will Smith, Jamie Foxx and Halle Berry.

Kent McManigal came out as my top candidate, but then I tend to be Libertarian.  He goes a bit far for me though.  Of the mainstream candidates, Biden, Clinton and Obama were among my tops.

Yeah it may be crap.

I don't like the way they worded the questions for example...
"Would lean toward protecting civil liberties even though it might risk our security."
...not providing an answer that simply says OBEY THE FREAKING LAWS.

The 9/11 Commission proved our intelligence agencies already had all goods on those terrorists and some of that information was brought before the highest levels of governement.  It also brought to light a particular manager within the FBI who ignored a critical report from a subordinate but the overall message basically is... many of the changes written into the Traitor Act weren't necessary and somehow even after all those changes they still can't seem to keep from breaking laws.

I have to say I don't think that was the best selector I've ever seen.  It dosen't give you any ability to disqualify based on certain issues, for instance I firmly stand against any candidate who is in favor of the Patriot Act or RealID, and I could compromise practically every other principle I have to see that such a candidate was not elected.

Not surprising.  Obama 08!!   For the record, I was a Clark supporter in 2004, so glad to see him up there too.  I still think he'd make an amazing VP candidate.
