I live in the states, but I am really set on a SG02. Has anybody had any luck getting one or know of a site that carries them that may ship? Any used ones perhaps?

I used to be into the european car scene, and ebay.de was a great resource for euro domestic market parts. I did a quick seach for sg02 and found nothing, a search for "silverstone" yielded a number of sg01s but none of the 02. Finding one and convincing the seller to ship to the states are 2 different things so good luck. I would also try some of the other euro ebay.xx variants, maybe you will get lucky and things line up for you. In my experience, the hunt is part of the fun, which is why you don't settle for what is easily available.

edit: I found 1 sg02 on ebay.co.uk. Unfortunately, it is for a full system, not just the case and the auction has no info regarding US shipping... it doesn't hurt to ask:

haha so true, I am excited at the idea of getting one. Would be pretty rare in the states. If nothing else I'll do a study abroad at my college so I can get to Europe and buy one! Thanks for the tips!

Found one... but it will cost me $230 shipped... don't know if the faceplate is worth it. Any thoughts?

am i the only one who was under the impression that the SG02 is made of steel rather than aluminium like the SG01?

Don't think so. The SG01 weighs 3 kg, while the SG02 weighs 2.6 kg.

Pretty sure the SG01 and the SG02 are the same chassis, just the front of the SG02 is made of plastic which makes it lighter.
