Okay: ONE more thought. There's a short somewhere.

(I know, really narrows it down, doesn't it?)

Here's where some mad modding skillz would come in handy: Run a pair of wires from that jumper to a toggle switch mounted into the front of the case. Then you just turn it on and flip the switch and POW you're off and running.

Um, at least until it needs to boot, that is Wink

People at Biostar dont have 200N boards anymore want to charge me $30 to look at the board or $40 to look at the whole thing. With that said they say they have 200V boards but refuse to tell me how much they are. They no longer sell SFFs but told me it would be cheaper to buy a new system. Very frustrating, I'd love a shuttle mobo to stick in here do u know if any would match up to the mounts?

There're two up on ebay at the moment. (Search on "ideq 200N")

I have no idea if the mounts would line up; I'd tend to doubt it. There are also indentations in the bottom of the case that contact the mobo and provide heat dissipation; I'm pretty sure a swap like that won't work.

Wow. It's been a loooong time since I've posted here.
Anyways, I pretty much got the same problem.
I was using my 200N one day when it just shuts off which I assume was due to overheating or something.
When I tried to boot it up again, the fans whir up at less than half their normal speed, and I believe the drives started up (but I'm not sure).
I just left it for dead. It was a huge pain anyways. I had to reset the BIOS almost every cold boot.
It would be great if you could revive yours, but I doubt it is going to happen. Biostar did not build the 200N with quality in mind, IMO.
Sorry to sound sadistic, but I'd start looking for a different board and case to put all your stuff in. Sad
